New Zealand SLR/L1A1 brown plastic grips

Selection of New Zealand SLR/L1A1 brown plastic grips. There are 3 distinct textures amongst the 6 shown. I would describe them as pebble grain (like typical black plastic grip, top left in pic), lizard skin, and coarse pebble grain (bottom right in pic).

Picture below shows date & lot codes on top of grips with years ranging from 1982 (top left two) to 1985 (bottom left two). The two far right grips date & lot codes are unreadable.

Grip plates and plastic inserts: The slot in the front of the lizard skin grips is squared off on the bottom and doesn't follow the rounded contour of the grip plate. The two variations of pebble grain grips are rounded and the contours match (top left & bottom right grips in below picture).

No, no stocks or hand guards. Iíve never seen mention of any either, just the matching carry handles.

Prior to seeing these ones I didn't even know they existed. Took a bit of research to figure it out. Thought these pictures might augment the existing information out there. Not sure on a price.

Phenomenal book! Needed to keep the grips from falling over and thought what better than two FAL books as book ends. If you would like better pictures for future editions of your book please let me know.

Those lizard skin ones are badass. How did NZ come to have all the coolest (IMO) L1A1 furniture?
