Ruger Talo

Looks like a new Ruger by Talo that's called a Carryhawk. Scroll down a bit and it gives a good view of the gun. Retail is about $1,000

That's interesting. I'd love to shoot one. I hear .45 LC can be loaded pretty hot, surpassing .44 mag. in energy. That thing looks like it could take it.

Instant cylinder ring with that matt finish for sure! Spoken by an old 3 screw fan and collector .

I like it! Not a thousand bucks worth of like, but a cute piece for sure.

I owned a 4-5/8" Man-na-port custom Super Blackhawk over 20 years ago that looked alot like that. The porting tamed it a bit, but was still a handful to shoot with full power 240 and 300 gr. loads, even with the full-size plow share grip. Sold it to a guide in Alaska.

Though that little beast above could probably take the punishment, the birdshead grip would be downright unpleasant to shoot with warm .45 Colt loads.
