A Remmy collector here, and have several 75s. 90s, and a single 88. Haven't shot any of them and because of their condition, I may not. My 75s are 44-40 except for one 45, which in a very rare gun.

For shooting the repos I'd stick to SASS loads, or loads not too much stronger, just because I'm into to shooting for the fun, and don't need to punish myself. I have heard that the real fun is shooting black powder, but I have no experience with black powder cartridge shooting.

I'd love to find an original 75 with the 5 1/2" barrel, especially if it was a 45. Also like to find one of the rare, Hartford Armory 75s that were made, I think, in the 1980s or 90s. I may have to break down ond get one of the Uberti versions.
