I would guess that SIG stopped making them, not because they were bad guns, but because the demand was inadequate to justify continuing to make them.

My advice would be this: Get it and shoot it a lot. If you're not going to shoot it a lot, get rid of it, and get back to shooting the gun you do shoot a lot. I don't predict the SIG to hold any particular value as a rarity or collector's item.
