Re: Izzy kits 299.00 at PSA

Only one HG ring is used, not two.

On a side note, I use Izzy HGs on my "race gun" FAL and did not have a ring when I first put them on. I later got a ring, but 3 or 4 years later and probably 4,000 rounds down the pipe, I have never yet seen a need to pull the gas tube and put it on.

Re: Ol' Dirty?

Coolness James, pure coolness!

I was so busy that day bouncing between RO and host, it was hard to get around and talk to everyone as much as I would have liked.

Hopefully you come back next year and maybe shooting 'Ol Dirty can be a special event :D

The double stamped lower is worth the $300 alone.
By double stamped do you mean if it has both Belgian and Hebrew markings?

I shot it at the TX shoot in 2018 and IIRC it was around 18K rounds then. He was just here at my place last month for the KY shoot, but the subject of 'Ol Dirty did not come up. I suspect it is still running however or he would have likely posted an "obituary" of it's final demise :D

Re: When does the normal FF open back up, pick your time and date

Seeing the comments on how the AK side is coming, I can only hope that the FAL side comes up "bug free" from the AK learning curve. I have nothing but a wild ass guess at best though on what that means for our timing however. I will blindly say Sunday the 16th at 2PM. That is as good of a guess as a...

Re: NRA Scandal

Any strategic fight requires a combined arms attack. 1) The NRA is the leviathan. The 800 lbs gorilla to distract and contain the gun grabbers. 2) GOA is the no compromise that can force people to the table, like Tier 3 & 4 SOF. 3) The 2nd Amendment Foundation is the surgical strike, like Tier 1 & ...

There is at least one member there I know well who has what you need to help you do it (not an actual gun smith), but he will have to volunteer himself if he wants to do so. If he wants to and is willing I cannot say, but be ready to buy a couple cases of beer if he chimes in here :D

Aquashade is a combination of algeacide, a UV blocker, and a dye. You can buy individual chemicals of any of the three, but Aquashade does it all.

So, is everybody up for the Longhorn across the highway from Ruby Tuesdays? 6 o'clock meet and greet and order dinner around 6:30? Sounds good to me, if I can be there.... Dump some mineral spirits into a pan. Dump some bleach in a bucket of water. Dump some algeacide in the pool. Dump some Round-Up in a tank. No problem. No fuss. No muss! No way I got any on me ;) Try dumping a few gallons of AquaShade into a lake over the side of a Jonboat. Look Ma, I'm a Smurf !!!

Hi Gents. I'd like to give Invictus77 "dibs" on this before I move on to another buyer. He indicated that he'd like to take it yesterday -- but was concerned about my (at that time) lack of a profile/evidence of past sales performance. To give him a chance to still take it seem the most decent thin...
