Israeli FAL selector.

So I have a quick question. I’ve taken apart a lot of different variants of FAL kits. This is the first time I’ve messed with Israeli kits. I can see that there’s some kind of clip that prevents the selector from coming out of the lower. Before I do anything I wanted to ask and see if there’s a prop...

Re: Izzy kits 299.00 at PSA

I know it. I was hoping for one type A with a double marked lower at least. 5 of them are the later ones with combo devices and really nice original finish on them. They have horizontal take down levers and no dents in the recoil plates. One is older with serial numbered lower and vertical take down...

Century built on BGS kit for sale on ARF.com

There is a Century arms G series rifle built on a BGS kit for sale on AR15.com. I remember Century making these. Could probably make a BGS clone out of it. Use the barrel and put a long Flash Hider on it. It’s already got the bipod and open ear gas block installed. Throw on some Wood Furniture. If y...

Re: Izzy kits 299.00 at PSA

So I just got my other two kits yesterday afternoon. I’m very happy with both of them one is really nice looking the other one everything looks pretty good on it except for the butt stock which is to be expected on some of the kits. One positive thing I did notice is both of these kits were packed m...

Re: Izzy kits 299.00 at PSA

Long time lurker, first time poster. I too have purchased a light barrel Izzy kit from PSA today. Hopefully the wait isn’t too long. I am totally familiar with building AK’s (Have built 3 lowers on my own) but don’t know if I feel comfortable mating the FAL upper receiver to the barrel. Would it be...

Re: Izzy kits 299.00 at PSA

Just got mine, just as oily and dirty as the old Aussie kits back in the day, the buttstock is fairly beat up but the metal On the rest of the kit is perfect, bolt face looks new, no wear anything, not sure how that happens. This kit will clean up and look like a brand new rifle with a new buttstoc...

Some kits are missing parts, anyone get extras? or are the errors always in PSAs favor?

Re: Izzy kits 299.00 at PSA

Mine came today and was disappointing. I realize it was $299.00 so no complaining here, the metal is usable but the handguards are a bit bent and truly awful, smooth with no ridges left. The stock is black with significant gouges although it mine clean up better. Most of the metal seems functional ...

Re: Izzy kits 299.00 at PSA

Guys if you’re on the fence about getting these kits I would act fast. They are an absolute bargain for the price of $299. Granted some small parts were missing from the kits I ordered. I know PSA is not gonna replace those parts. I’m missing two gas tube pins. One sling swivel. Two gas regulator s...

Re: Izzy kits 299.00 at PSA

I have a nice Imbel barrel I plan to use. I’ll just have the gas blocks swapped. Chime in if anyone thinks this won’t work. I’m building a later kit with the combo device, so the imbel barrel should work fine.

The stupid thing is, the barrels are technically importable if the threads are cut off, but the powers that be have stated they will not allow them in - no matter what!

Re: BLM dude shot and killed in Austin last night, check out his hat

Anyone who has spent any time around firearms can tell that the first five shots are rifle fire. After that there’s quite a delay before you hear the three handgun shots. There’s definitely a distinct difference. I know that if I was in that situation in my car and somebody approached it with a fire...
