The FAL / AK Files Temporary Home

I'm guessing that Kalashnikov Group is trying to cash in on the 5.56mm AK market for export, since FB Radom (with the Beryl) and Arsenal with their 5.56mm AKs have done well, though especially with FB pushing the Grot, it's unknown how long they'll continue to make 5.56mm AK derivatives.

I take that as meaning "don't be a huge asshole".

I'd ask to see HQ photos of the rifle, namely the muzzle device, but since the new FAL Files forum will be opening up in a day or two, I'm not sure how much use it will be to ask.

Given that the site is up and open to contributors and vendors, it should be open for general admission in a day or two.

I think that when the new site is up and running we'll get a notification or we'll be redirected to the new site.

Well, if crap stops messing up on the AK Files board and that stabilizes, we'd probably get general access to the FAL Files within a day or two of that.

From what I've read in another thread, those who were perma-banned from the FAL Files side of things can expect to stay banned once the revived site is up and running. Problem right now is that jank on the side of the AK Files with stuff still not working right off and on, and once that gets ironed ...

AK Files page opens up to as far as getting there. Not going to re-register or try and figure out my old password, though. Rather wait for the FAL Files to come online once all the bugs have been worked out.

Being on this board makes me wish that the FAL Files was back up, for more reason than one. Namely better discussions and more varied content, and not having to read stuff from assholes who couldn't make the cut even on the AK Files.
