Yep. They have appropriated my Magnum PI shirts. Not cool.

Re: I’m torn between an L1A1 kit and another IMBEL kit

L1A1 balances better. Build it on a CAI Imbel partially inch cut for magazine consistency. Or on a dSA type 1 FAL receiver. Downside, few 922 parts.
Or buy a thumbhole and convert.

Re: Rare! Pre-Ban Belgium FAL

yes, it is an Argentine lower with a full auto selector and an improperly adjusted receiver lock. The upper also has a number stamped on R side which is probably not original - some attempt to match it to the Argy lower? Also - it's RH thread for long flash hider, retrofitted for a RH thread combo d...

The rack number and serial number won't be the same.
I am in need of a 1A1 buttstock (or two). All depends on what you want for it. Have trade fodder on site.

WTB MP5A2 & A3 stock

Looking for a German A2 stock and a german A3 stock. Actually, I only need the fork section with shoulder piece, so if the latch is broken, that's ok. I've got the parts to fix it. This is the old style, not the "F" stock. Also looking for narrow handguard. And anyone remember who was doing the wood...

yes, if the gap is just under .056", yes, L1A1. Is it threaded at the muzzle? RH threads would confirm.

Re: NOS Type 3 FN receiver

The only reason I'd want an FN is to sell it and buy two IMBELs. I've owned dozens of FNs and none shot as well as my SAR-48s. The value difference is entirely spiritual. But just because it's spiritual doesn't mean it's not there. Maybe that's why I paid twice as much for a used HK MP5 bolt carrier...

Kind of off topic, but does anyone know what the gas port size should be for an Israeli light barrel build? I feel like I read somewhere that it was .1 and open to .109 if needed, can anyone confirm? thanks I feel like on ARS site it said 0.096 was to spec but he has built a lot that had sluggish g...

Remove mag to disengage BHO. Load one round. Fire. If the trigger is dead, you have hammer follow.

Re: Metric type CH on an Inch cut receiver?

Well, if it's a modified FAL, the divot will still be there. The cut is at the forward leading edge of the divot. If it's an IMBEL on which CAI ordered the Charge handle cut, there will be no divot. still no big deal as the only time it would move is if the BHO is engaged. What is an issue is the re...

Re: FN-49 Help double fire

Don't have an image handy. The claw that catches the hammer in the rearward position and releases it to the fire position when the trigger is released. It sounds like this is not catching and on bolt return the hammer follows forward and fires.

If your hammer is following, it is DANGEROUS. It is not cool. There is a chance of out of battery firing.

Check the disconnector engagement.

Re: Loose Rat Tail Pin?

When is a rivet not a rivet? If the defining factor is that some part of it is deformed for retention, then the L1A1 front and rear sling screws are actually rivets. Or they are not rivets until the end is peened on assembly, and then it is a rivet. The AK grip screw is a screw until it's tight and ...

Re: What is the deal with the new palmetto state armory website?

Well, I e-mailed them two weeks ago over tax exempt status on purchasing kits, and they couldn't be bothered to reply. So I don't know what's up.

If anyone has a number they'll answer or an e-mail they'll reply to for dealer orders, I'd love to pick up a couple hundred parts kits.
