Re: Does your workplace allow you to carry firearms?
Usually have a rifle in the pickup. Carry gun goes on my tool box when I get there, along with anything else hanging off of me. Stuff gets hung up to much working on tractors so it all goes in the box.

Re: Saturday lunch meet up in Denton, Texas
Would have tried if I'd known a friend was heading that way. I didn't find out he was going that way until he was already there. Split the cost and whatnot. To late now. Hopefully it was an enjoyable time.

Steve Earle and the Del McCoury band did an album I really like. Probably 25 years ago. I ain't sure. I have it somewhere around here.
I will say that this one that got me started into grass. Was still into rockabilly then.

Another potential for tanks aside from water heater is a pressure tank from a well. Also happens to be what I'm making my foundry out of.

Re: Any Bluegrass fans here?
I listen to all kinds. Used to hang out at a dump of a bar to listen to some bluegrass. Now, there are times I feel the need to listen to train robbing music Ill listen to The Dead South. If you can imagine a Indian, a hillbilly, a Texan, and a Amish dude getting together to sing a murder ballad yo...

Re: Any Bluegrass fans here?
Yep, there is a natural progression of old punk rockers to rockabilly, then bluegrass. Guys at work hate it when I start playing "hillbilly music". One guy even says "on shit, chilly is playing banjo music again". I keep a full size 5 string on my dresser. I still suck playing it, but I'm getting be...

Re: No Contact with Lefty Family members
I have family on the west coast, and family on the east coast. I went to Texas from NC, for two different reasons. #1 As far away from my family as I could get. #2 and doesn't take away from #1, this is how far I got when I ran out of money. I got work and could have headed out anytime. I found I ki...

Bunch of goddam fucking pussies. Civil war has begun and everybody is enjoying a stimulus check and $600 week unemployment, getting fucking more lazy and buying up toilet paper and 22LR. The left has won, you're now a communist nation in case you haven't noticed. It doesn't take a youtube guru nor ...

Quotes from the guy leading the march against the statue: "They literally had people out there measuring us for distance." “We don’t want to touch that statue because anything that happens to that statue is going to get blamed on me.” Funny how we didn't get to hear from the other side... Sm...

I picked up a SeeAll sight on sale a few months back. Put it on a mkII, it's kinda cool after the getting used to it stage. Not the sight for everybody, but still a quick sight to have, once you get used to it.

I've had to do a change over. I used to keep hot and ready to go. My memory isn't great since the stroke. So I keep them condition 3. And check them when I'm handling them. it's just me, and I really don't want an accident that is easily avoidable. I should add that I always consider my revolvers lo...
