Re: What might CS Lewis say of our COVID situation?
I always liked this one when it comes to the government looking out for your good. “Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelt...

Re: Missouri AG moves to Dismiss Charges against McCluskys
Don't prosecutors in MO have a hierarchy they have to answer to? Can't the MO AG basically invoke his superior office to take the case away from her? Can he discipline her for malfeasance or even just failing to do her job? At least order her to wear a paper bag in court to cover up her ugly? Sound...

Re: 91% odds of Trump Winning 2020
Polls are always shit this far out, most of the organizations taking them want us demoralized. Most polls are showing Republicans making up about 10% less of the polling sample than the last 2 election exit polls showed. If they're off -10% Repub in their weighting the whole poll is just propganda.

So now the city and state are suing the feds to stop them from rounding up commies. I am extremely proud my old outfit was selected to participate in this op. Unmarked rental vehicles, no agency insignia on personell, secret detention facilities. Warms my heart. Hopefully they are allowed to step it...

Saw it the last two nights, pretty visible with the naked eye but nicer view with binocs once you find it. Tonight was a little hazy with some high level clouds so last night was better.

Re: SCOTUS turns half of Oklahoma back to Native Americans
Not a win for Natives "Off" the reservation, or rather what was once the reservation. I don't think this is a win for anyone, except the ChoMo that pushed the lawsuit. However, I wonder how this will impact LE interaction with natives? Example A : native attempts to break into non-native's home. Ca...

Re: Is Fords 2.7L turbo V6 a reliable engine?
My brother has one in his F150, he pulls a light camper and hauls wood, etc around. Never has complained about it a bit, hell he loves it. I drove it - damn thing is pretty snappy. I know some first gens had issues, as all first model years do, but his has been trouble free. That said - recall all ...

Ruger Blackhawk, Pachmayr grip, hand loaded 300 Hornady XTP with 21.5 grains of W296. It is very accurate and gives about 1150 feet per second from the 7.5 inch barrel. The Blackhawk adjustable sights work well and the grip helps with the recoil. It is not stainless and I may get a stainless Super ...
