Re: Izzy kits 299.00 at PSA
Okay, I can't get my pics to show up. Probably going to change them over to the black furniture if I can't get the wood stuff to hold together. The wood is kind of coming apart where the butt plate is. Maybe I can get some epoxy sealer on it.

Re: Izzy kits 299.00 at PSA
I can only think of one reason to carve notches on a stock, what does the lower receiver look like? Since I cleaned up the stock they are not as visible, but in the sun you can pick them up pretty clearly. As for the lower, it is in what I think is pretty good shape. Lots of wear, but the controls ...

One of mine has some Hebrew carved into the stock. According to google translator it says “Lion” on one side and “Egypt” on the other. Mine has eight notches cut into the top of the stock. Either someone got bored, or they were keeping count. Knowing how long these served I would imagine there is a...

Re: Does your workplace allow you to carry firearms?
Currently, I am medically retired, and I have a gun on my hip 98% of the time. When I worked at a local college, they frowned on having guns on campus, but in my briefcase I kept my Colt Combat Commander and two spare mags. When I worked at an auto parts store we had them in our pockets, hid them un...

Re: NOS Type 3 FN receiver
This back and forth sounds just the same at car forums. I have a 65 MGB that I purchased in 84. Served me well for many years, but the issues started lining up. So I started welding some new steel where it needs to. I also tore out the wiring harness with the amazing two fuse system. The left half o...

Re: Izzy kits 299.00 at PSA
I received my kit yesterday, and it looks like what the others do. I started doing some cleaning up before I do the heavy duty cleaning. I notice that on my kit there are no serial numbers anywhere. I guess the upper is the only part that really needs a serial. I have never held one of these, but I ...
