I'm with you on this. 100% in agreement. I call them demcoms (they LIKE the Chicoms etc)

with my 1911, I always have it cocked, locked, one up the pipe unless if I am cleaning it.
No need to check, it's loaded and ready to go.
My guns in the safe are loaded but DO NOT have one up the pipe just in case there were to be a fire.
