... However, I would have thought the recoil plate was hardened enough not to allow something like that happening? Iirc, the rear portion of the trigger housing is annealed, to avoid cracking due to carrier impact. If it was hardened, repeated carrier impact could actually damage that solid block, ...

9/16-24LH threads, yes it should fit just fine. However, those DSA barrels have bipod provision and would not be 'correct' for an Israeli build...

The truth and power of these words cannot be understated or underestimated... however, the '2nd FAL' you speak of will be but the tip of the iceberg...

Please be a bit more specific -- how much pressure are we talking? Jamming it closed, or just 'pushing quite hard' with two thumbs? If you're able to even close the bolt over a .255 on a GO gauge, you'll likely only need to reduce by a size or two, to .254 or .253. But, you may first consider cleani...

Just missed a nice FN Para Folder with Lower on GB. $2025 !!! Crazy.... Be thankful you did not win that auction at anything 'well over $600', because 'crazy' does not begin to describe that idiocracy. That lower was not an 'original' para lower, it was basically identical to the Type 2 para lowers...
