I can get to the home page now but it says that the forum is closed to new registrations and registered members. That sucks, I was hoping to be able to get back on the files. i can get logged in, but no posts/threads are visible. i upgraded to contributor, don't know how long that takes to take effect.

consistent with what i've read on this before. the 7.62x39 will basically poke holes and pass through without deforming/tumbling (unless it hits bone). 5.56 will yaw and fragment/disintegrate more easily dumping more of it's energy into the victim.

i'm more of a LOLbertarian myself.
