Re: Who is Buying All the Ammo?

Have said for years my business is always open to Files members and are welcome to stop by. Have had a couple visit which none called B.S. just based on what's seen at work. Most things discussed have posted photos on the board. I climbed, bicycled, skied four to six months per year before I broke m...

Re: Who is Buying All the Ammo?

I never need more but buy more on at least a monthly order like I do reloading supplies. That said have not made an order for August yet and only purchased match grade rimfire in July. Was still buying 5.56 M193 and M855 at fair prices up till May. Soon as Chinese Flu became a world then U.S. nation...

Re: Ruger 10/22 Factory & Custom Builds

Separating parts into piles and about to set into tearing down the second BX 25 trigger after I tear down the BX trigger I just finished but had to stack shims in a couple spots due to being short some thicknesses. May as well have it totally happy before start the next. Since "finishing" the first ...

Re: Ruger 10/22 Factory & Custom Builds

Skipping ahead. Is this for security detail of dilapidated whore house? And is the structure dilapidated, or the whores? Yes, it matters. Generally the occupants resemble their enviroment and that is all I will say, I believe at one time he was only known of as the "one not to be spoken of" due to ...

Re: Ruger 10/22 Factory & Custom Builds

Remember the dude who planned to have his legion of GoGo dancers right off the Zombie hoards with Ruger 10/22s? Pepperidge Farm remembers. Yep, if he shows back up it will be bad. He is the one who got banned for calling folks wives a prostitute & making threats. We have some heated debates on this...

Re: Ruger 10/22 Factory & Custom Builds

I am not seeing anything used for sale unless it's at double the NIB price of six months ago. That said parts have not gone up but occasionally see Tactical Innovations, Kidd and Volquartzen run out of specific parts and set up a email notice for when they restock. Was happy to find some really good...

Ruger 10/22 Factory & Custom Builds

I like both factory Ruger 10/22s as well as custom builds. Just like FALs, ARs, 1911s and others. Sometimes (actually more than care to admit) I miss new models that would be easy to order before they are discontinued because am engrossed in some other project(s). Currently am shopping for factory R...

Re: Trump's Brother Dies. Trump Plays Golf.

My father's last surviving sibling and part owner/manager of our other sign shop died in a wreck at age 89 on Friday when some @$$ going well over double the posted legal speed limit while passing on a double yellow line hit him head on. Oncoming vehicle hit him so hard it broke the seat belt mounts...

Re: Primers: Panic or Supply Chain, or Both?

Have been finding some fair deals on new and pull down primed brass so increases my brass inventory and first loading don't have to use primers from the lockers. When primers and components first started running short plus prices were rising was also watching ammo prices and once the run began there...

Re: Banned members

We have a varied and odd enough group that has an tenuous equilibrium without bringing back some of the past banned folks. That said for this temporary board I can see how the proprietors have bigger fish to fry getting the new/improved/repaired site up and running. As hard as it is to get banned fr...

Re: Does your workplace allow you to carry firearms?

My workplace requires it. For those who show up without a gun or ammo we keep a safe full of range guns as we take regular shooting breaks. Have a sixty foot indoor range that will handle 44 Mag pistol and up to 7.62×39 rifle. It's odd how we can chow down with an AK or SKS with zero damage to strik...

Re: Arizona sheriff's 'Citizens Posse' allows residents to be deputized

If a group were to decide to march to the U.S. Olympic Rowing venue there are about a dozen likeminded households who once the crowd gets spread out marching in the road suddenly a bunch of Trump 2020 flags will all be hoisted within seconds of each other. Knowing the entitled little bastards could ...

Re: Arizona sheriff's 'Citizens Posse' allows residents to be deputized

I was a "reserve deputy" back in mid 1980's to early 1990's till a new sheriff was elected and chose to drop all people without Post Certification from theach reserve program. Most of the time I was actually living in a different county but this was my home county where my family can trace our herit...

Re: Looking for SKS stocks

If I was you I would've kicked his ass. I was raised not to mess with stuff that isn't yours. Hell the worst I've done without permission was clean my brother's rifle because he hadn't in years. I could never use someone else's gun or ammo without asking nor would I change anything without their co...

Re: Looking for SKS stocks

I left six NIB SKSs with a dozen 600 round sealed tins of steel core ammo at my parents home when I moved out after college. Also left my parents each with a Smith M60 wheel gun which were part of a consequent serial number pair, a Taurus 4" 357 Mag, a 20 gauge semi auto riot type scatter gun and a ...

Race wars? If one reads much plus pays attention to photos and video from "war on terror" combat zone FOBs along with large bases all are covered with gang tags. Have read Marine Corp is slap full of Hispanic and black gang bangers along with neonazi skinhead white supremacists. Watched a video wher...

Sold my entire Winchester 1886 collection in 2009 or early 2010 to pay a pile of mounting medical bills following being rear ended three times by women text messaging breaking a different portion of my spine each time but luckily docs saw something in the edge of a scan of my neck and caught my pitu...

I wear NIJ Level 2 soft armor with a 6"×9" or 8"×10" Protech special threat plate daily. Have been selling clean used covert and overt rifle armor for years. Since Christmas prices have shot way up and went from about 100 assorted kits on my sale rack down to less than a dozen kits now and having an...

From the Double Nickel Compact to the big Tacops TB all of my SIG 1911s run like a sewimg machine. The ones I send to their custom shop all come b...
