Windows 10 question - zooming

I had to get a new computer last weekend and am stuck with Windows 10. On windows 7, I had a +/- toggle on my keyboard and could zoom a screen in or out. This was the only way I could view the images that some asswipes post here, that are 3' wide, actual size.

That feature does not work any more.

Is it a problem with windows recognizing my Microsoft ergo keyboard, or what? Yes, I googled it and can change in settings, but I don't want it ALWAYS 125%.

I can press <window> and + Or - and get an immediate huge jump in size with Magnifier. 100% or 200% or 300%. No incremental.

Any way to get my toggle back?

I was afraid I was going to hate windows 10, and now after using it for a couple days, discovered that I hate it far more than I expected. But then I was happy with Win 98 SVC pack 2 and XP.

Control/scroll.

I don't hit the scroll, but do hold the "ctrl" button at the same time I hit the "+" or "-" button.

ctrl +/- works. scroll doesn't do anything.

for clarity, the toggle I'm referring to is in the center here.

Bingo! Yes, I misunderstood and thought it was ctrl + keyboard scroll. Which would still be nice.

I add my thanks, since I'm stuck with Win10 and didn't know this trick either.

I still prefer XP (feel free to bring on the hate)...

I still use XP and when something else is required Winblows 7.

But to be honest I do have a box a friend from computer school time (1987) frame gave me that has Winblows 10 on it.

You are not alone Forest.

I've moved on to Ubuntu, both in the man cave and an ultra light brick PC in the kitchen/dining room area. Works pretty good though it takes a bit more effort than Windows. I still have a laptop with Win 10 on it though.
