The wedding went perfectly last Saturday. Rain was in the forcast but Mother Nature gave us a break and it was sunny and warm.

Dang Mark, you clean up purdy good! Almost suave enough to hang out with the good-looking women in your family. Congratulations to you and yours. Hope your wallet recovers soon. http://www.fnfal.com/forums/wink.gif

If the wedding was in Ohio, your daughter is quite the gambler by scheduling for early April... the sun is usually competing with rain AND snow... glad it came up Aces for her.

Boy, I bet you had to keep the shotgun handy while this one was in her teen years and into adult hood. Cangratulations...!!! Yep, I'm still waiting to marry my little girl off. Of course, I have another 15-20 years before that happens...RB

Congrats!! Did that myself awhile back. Bet you are glad it's over. Best wishes to you and yours, Monte

Thanks gang!
I have two daughters and they are both dolls.
I used to schedule gun cleaning right about the time their boy friends came over to pick them up. ;-)
Very effective.

Warmest Regards,

Congrats! Truly a milestone in your life!
Boy, can I relate: daughter is 19; bringing the beaus over thru the garage while I'm reloading/cleaning/assembling; passing out copies of the "If you want to date my daughter" essay, etc!. http://www.fnfal.com/forums/biggrin.gif

Reminds me of a friend back in college. He went to pick up a girl for a date and her father was "conviently" cleaning his rifle in the living room. Anyway, he told the old man how much he liked his K98. Spent about 30 minutes talking to the old man. Eventually stopped dating the girl, but ended up shooting lots of weekends with the old man. So what are you gonna do when your daughter's suiter tells you how he has several Imbel receivers stashed and is just waiting to get his group buy kits in?

Thanks again for all the kind words. Shellie is also deadly with a 1911A1 and outshoots me.

She wanted me to donate George II (my G&G custom .45) as her wedding gift.

Sorry, Honey, but some things are best left to Dad. ;-)

I couldn't part with George II for anything.
Giving away my daughter was bad enough, but George II? No way! :-)

Warmest Regards,
Mark Powell
