As long as there is a St Patrick's Day, perhaps we should also have a Hitler, Stalin, and Pol-Pot Day. Should be a day of shame, not celebration.

WTF?
Can you explain that a bit:?

As St Patrick (one or both of them) was responsible for the systematic murder of the Pagans and the wholesale destruction of their culture, I fail to see where the genocide he orchestrated is worthy of celebration.

You've not spent enough time in the backwoods (or rather peat bogs) of Cumry with the locals have you?

My English, Russian, and German roots are only seeing Orange today.

Unfortunately I maried a Scotch-Irish lass, and both of my kids married irish whatevers............I now have inadvertently helped perpetrate the red haired scourge, down through my grandchildren........thank god they all have a smattering of good genes, to save them yet...........

i miss the parade in KC. my x-bro in law is all mick, short, red headed, rosy cheeks, he puts on a leprachaun suit, goes to the parade and gets all his beers free. he is on home arrest now but he will find some way to get some free action.
Happy St Paddy 's Day!!!

Really? Where do you get your evidence?
This seems to be more likely.
