Subject: Bogus IRS emails-Phishing

With tax time right around the corner, please be extra careful about emails that pretend to be a message from the IRS. These emails will be fake as the IRS will not email you.

The latest example is below: I have slightly altered the link from what was in the message to make it unusable but here is a nice little lesson to help identify phishing: the link includes chna.edu.tw A little research shows that chna is Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science, the edu means that it is a university (only colleges and universities are allowed the .edu label) finally the tw means it is is Tiawan. Definitely not the IRS
