FSE Fire Control Parts Fumbling The Handoff

Hi:

I have been finishing up a build (Imbel on Imbel, mostly) that I started over a year ago, and have run into trouble in the fire control group. Seems that it is either wanting to fire an extra round upon release of the trigger, which is most annoying as you might imagine. I have isolated the trouble to the trigger itself by trying various combinations of FSE and GI parts. Upon release of the trigger, the hammer drops when the sear is released by the trigger to shift rearward when the trigger is released (during the "handoff", to use an M1/M14 term). These are FSE parts dated "02". Any suggestions on how to correct this issue?

TIA

I had the same problem with an early set of FSE HTS. Emailed Harold Shinn/FSE(sp?), shipped him my old and he sent me a brand new M3 set. It's been covered numerous times.

You may want to try using a different selector. I noticed that my last build was doing the same thing with an Imbel selector but worked fine with a modified inch selector.
