Good guns. I would have thought an ex-marine would be partial to 1911's though. Well, at least it's OD Green, I guess that makes it OK.

You are probably right, I just like being able to hit all the bells and whistles with one hand

Mine doesn't see much in the belt carry, as much as I like my Sig, it just can't kick the 70 series Govt model out of the belt carry mode

Sometimes, I think I could knock the sights completly off the Colt and still shoot the bottom out of a coffee cup at 10 yards.

I have so far resisted the urge to aquire a Sig 220 or 226. With pics like these, it is getting much more difficult.

Congrats RT

it was hard to pass up . the guy who had it was hard up for money.$300.00. then a little coin to glen and he squared it away, and a new gunkote paint job. and vala new sig for under $500.00 with the new hoge grips, now i need extra mag's. are pro mag's any good?~R

Both of those 220s look awesome. Glen did great on that green finish. What kind of wood is that sig? That wood grip gives it a really classy/sexy look to it.

Wow, really? I was thinking that it was some custom made grip.

The last set looks like they added some NRA pins to an ok looking set of wooden grips. Your looks much better limey.

Green Sig... good grief... what is that, a broccoli and brussel sprouts commemorative? Didn't Kermit teach you anything? Green is for leaves, and pine needles, and vegetables, and money.

I think I will go to my corner and talk to myself for a while.

Green......

Is nothing sacred any more?

OD green is popular right now, either the entire weapon, or two-tone. Probably half of the work I do is for people that want OD green

the grips are not wood, they are rubber houge (sp) grips, and are very comfy. and make the Sig stand out. if you don't own a Sig get one. sorry to bring out a old dead thread~R . got to love Jen for giveing us a lot of new fourm's!!!
