Need AK threading advice

I am at work and I decided it might be nice to thread my SAR1 rifle to accept the slant brake. I am well aware about the legal side of this one and what is requires, but I would like to know if there is enough meat on the end of the barrel to thread it (14x1 LH)? I guess I could measure it myself, but like I said I am at work and do not have the stuff with me at this moment. Any help one could provide will be greatly appreciated.

I threaded mine and attached an AK74 brake, and did the same for a buddies with the slant brake. Plenty of material there, just be sure to permanantly attach it....until Sept. at least.
Also if you happen to have a left handed FAL barrel threading die (9/16 X 24L IIRC) it is interchangeable with the metric 14X1L.
