Been up for a while.. just been busy re-typing the entire confirmations / payments tracking spreadsheet as it has dissapeared from my computer.

Right now it looks like all of the ML2, M2 2x and ML2 2x orders are waiting on Mounts to come in, so if you ordered any kind of mounts/rings with your ML2's, ML2 2x's or M2 2x's then yours will ship out complete when they get here (Expected early next week).

dannonlae - I believe you did and I will confirm for you tomorrow. You did however order the M2 model aimpoints which are not yet here, so your check has not been cashed. Only the ML2 (non NVG model) has come in.

If anyone else sent a check they don't believe will clear, please contact me immediately so that I am aware of this and will hold your check if needed.

Is this group buy still open? If it is, I would like to have pricing on the CompML2 - No Night Vision and the CompML2 2x - Non-NVG 2x Power Scope. Thank you in advance.

No problem. It has not been cashed yet.

I do believe the BBS (Big Brown Santa) attempted to deliver a package of M2's today, but I won't know for sure if it was them and if so how many until late Monday.

Some of the M2's are on the way! Expecting to have them mid week.

Updates added to the first post including the list of M2 orders being filled.

We're still waiting on the mounts to get here. I am expecting them sometime this week and again, I am shipping orders complete. ALL of the ML2's and 2x models have arrived and will be shipped when the mounts arrive.

Where are these M2's coming from?
I thought they were discontinued as listed in Brownell's

If they were discontinued, that's news to me. AFAIK Aimpoint is still turning out the M2's and ML2's (just got some last week and more coming this week). I find it odd that they're listed under Springfield Armory as the MFG in Brownells online catalog???

Drawing from my vast retail experience (not really, I am just waxing poetic here) the most probable scenario is that Brownell's bought a lot of them from Springfield Armoury. That is why SA is listed as the mfg, and has now run out of them or cannot get them anymore from SA.

Just my $.02.

BTW, thank you Jen for your prompt response to my request for a price list. Hopefully, this GB will last long enough for me to gather enough funds to participate, but right now, I am tapped.

The first batch of M2's will be here tomorrow.

I'll post the list of which orders are shipping when they arrive. I will try to get out complete orders first as we are still waiting on the the mounts to come in.

Jen,

When paying with PayPal do we add 3% to the price? Also, what is the lead time on the Aimpoint QRPs?

Thanks,

The "big brown santa" came this afternoon and delivered my new toy; definitely a quality piece of workmanship

I was a bit disappointed in the 30mm mount though. There's some marring of the anodizing on the top, near the front edge. It doesn't make the mount unusable or anything, but the shiny aluminum showing through the coating just looks bad. I just don't see how it could have happened in the little cardboard box that it was packaged in; there's nothing to bang against. Oh well, it was such a good deal that I can't really be angry

Thanks again Jen.

Yeah, I'm not overly impressed with the aimpoint 30mm rings and the finish on them. The QRP's and such are nicer (and more expensive) and my personal preference is the ARMS 22M68 Mount.

Price lists heading out to those who have requested.

Have any of the paid members received their orders in the last couple of months? Is there a problem at Aimpoint that orders are shipping so slowly?

The main hold up is the mounts and I am waiting on 3 of the CompM2's to come in to complete orders. That is what the remaining orders are waiting on.

The following have already been shipped:

EMDII
Cadillac
milgun
2ndssnco
MP906
FAL
TimV
GNB
S. Burris
Nobembersix
Harvesterofsorrow

The following are pending shipment (waiting on a M2 or mounts or combo thereof):
dannonlae
Grumble Weed
John Randolph
Sgt Gold
Warlok

The following confirmed but haven't sent payment:
Akkid
Lawtalkingguy
TemplarKnight
BenRM

Aimpoint has military contracts to fulfill so I assume this is the hold up on the remaining M2's (military models). I'm not sure why the mounts are taking so long to get but I should have an answer on when they'll be here or alternate source within the next few days.

Aimpoint did get a pretty big military contract, same as trijicon and one other optics maker. I don't know what the hold up is, though.

Howdy
I was told that my M2 was in and that we were only waiting on the ARMS mounts (back on May 5th -2 1/2 months ago) ARMS told me back then (May 28th) they had the mounts in stock. Jen told me she had ordered the mounts ARMS mounts from Aimpoint NOT from ARMS and that was the original hold up. Jen said she is now trying to set up a direct account with ARMS for the mounts and not waiting on Aimpoint anymore.
I have not had Jen respond to any of my correspondence as of late. That has me worried, frustrated and more.

God Bless

When the arms/ aimpoint mount stuff gets sorted out you'll get your stuff from Jen, don't worry about that. She tends to jump in and out of things for a while but she'll take care of what she has committed to.

Sorry for the lack of updates, I'm still dealing with some issues related to my computer problems a week or so ago and not all my email accounts are operational yet and I'm in the process of having to re-create the entire aimpoint orders list from scratch. Bear with me, I'll have this cleared up as quick as I can. On a positive note I got a shipping confirmation and most if not all the mounts will be here sometime later this week.

Full payment in early May without shipment

I paid in full for 3 M2 Aimpoints and 1 M2 2X Aimpoint. I have the signature confirmation receipt and the two receipts for the money orders which total $1726.00 and which were sent May 6, 2004 via priority mail and signed for by Jen. She responded via email on May 10 that I had to fill out some form and send in via email even though she had received a hard copy of the form with my order and money order payments. Now I am listed above as not having paid. This is rubbish. I would like confirmation that my order is being sent. I have been out of town for some time and assumed that my order would be here. I never ordered any ARMS mounts so that can't be holding it up. The only accessories I ordered were 4 of the double battery module and 4 of the lithium batteries. These can't be holding up the order. I would appreciate some action. Thank you.

I have e-mailed you the Confirmation e-mail you sent me with the Confirmation # and Order Information on it to help you with "re-creating the order list". I hope this helps. If you need information from the others, you have but to ask - I'm sure they would be more than happy to send you copies of their Confirmation e-mails to help you out.

God Bless
