26mm rings

Need a set of INEXPENSIVE rings for a project. Would prefer better than Chicom but less than IOR. Anyone know who makes some ?

Not the cheapest, but these are the only ones that I found. I have been looking for the same thing. I believe that you can get the aluminum TSR rings at brownells for $37 with a dealer discount, steel on the other hand has to be ordered direct from tactical precision. I think Leupold makes them in their QR model.

Where have you found IOR 26mm? All I can find are their inserts, and nobody has them in stock. How much are they?

Not that I'm aware of but the 1" steel QR rings can be opened up, I've done a few pairs. I used a CNC Bridgeport and endmilled it but the same could be done with a boring bar or possibly an adjustable reamer. I setup using a piece of steel base in the vise and shimed .03" under each set of ring screws. You'r only removing very little, like .012". I've done 3 set's like this and they have turned out great, fit perfectly and given me QD steel rings
