As a few of you have seen, Gunwares made a pair of firearms stands for me, one FAL, one 1911. For those of you pondering whether to buy one, I say absolutely.
I ordered one in Red Oak, and it's gorgeous. I also asked for two magazine slots, and they're precision cut for metric mags. Overall, a beautiful display piece that's going to hold the family rifle, just like days of old. Best, John Bear Ross

I am contemplating having Gunwares do me a FAL/2 mag stand and a .45/2 mag ParaOrd stand in either Goncalo Alves or Mordilla/Rosewood. Can't make up my mind, but I am leaning towards the Goncalo Alves. Sure seems like they turn out beautiful products.
