field gauge

Hi Im looking at a 308 Enfield and it wont close on a 308 field gauge does it sound ok?

On the Ishy I'd offer : NO.

Get a larger (higher number) bolt head.

That is normal for a survey of several I have had. The bolt heads are not numbered but you can get a handful of smle bolt heads a use one that measures longer. You need to use the ishpore extractor and the screws can be difficult or in poor condition. Mine is go only now.

Thank you, the guy wants 150.00 for it I dont know much about them and was curios to see if ws worth it.
