Smile Park tank alternatives

While cruising thru eBay, I thought I'd check out something. This is what I found.

Might be just the thing. Price aint bad either. I am going to check my local restaurant supply house for their prices and sizes first.

I've been looking for alternate Stainless pans for parking also.

Beings I work in a nursing home, have access to the supply clerk & cataloges, I checked out some of the "Food Service" steam table pans. WOW!! are they expensive. To purchase a small one for small parts (nothing larger than a lower about 12"w x 16"l x 3 " deep) would cost me around $50.00 AT WHOLESALE.

I can get the whole kit from DoubleOught for about $100.00 (40" long tank, mesh screen, thermometer & cover). This seems like a cheaper way to go.

'Course I have a welder & can weld SS. Local metal shop will sell me enough 16ga stainless for a 40" tank & cover. Not as cheap as carbon steel, but not as expensive as a premade tank.

Might check out DoubleOughts website here.

Just my .02

Yard sales are good source for ss pans. Have picked up several that I use and cost was next to nothing. For a primary tank I have one of Doubleoughts 36" tanks that I have been using for couple years and it works great!
