New G1 from CGW
This reveiw is late in coming as I got the rifle back from Rich a few weeks ago. Have just been too busy to get the pics together and do the reveiw. Rich, you did a fantastic build! Thanks again.
I sent Rich essentially a hand picked G1 kit that I have been working on for the last 8 months. The US parts are Coonan type 1 receiver, Ironwood buttstock, FSE hts, Tapco gas piston, Schneider charging handle and a DSA plastic grip. The new parts I used where FN lower, G1 carry handle, G1 handguards, bipod, topcover, bho and vert. takedown lever. The originals that I had were pretty well trashed. Had the rifle refinished in satin black Duracoat. Well let me tell you that this is one sweet rifle! Still haven't shot it yet but hope to soon. BTW, had to do some quick pics indoors so unfortunately they aren't the best and they sure don't do justice to the fine rifle that Rich built for me. Its much better in person

The G1 came out nice! It looks good with the black finish/wood stock.
