AUG 6 HE WON'T AWNSER IMs / Email /PHONE calls or PMs
so I say he is a THIEF!!!!!
He did say he's on AR15.com alot.

He won't awnser IMs / Email / PMs / or Phone calls
even when I see him online.
He has deleted the MARKETPLACE add. but I have
it printed out with SPF.
I say he's a THIEF SO WATCH OUT FOR HIM.
He is on AR15 alot he told me.

All the items are in black and are NIW.

I had ordered these on the intent of using them to modify my CIA. Then decided to abandon the idea all together so that I can fund another AR.

He later confirmed that the items in question were TAPCO manufacture and TAPCO themselves responded that none of the SAW buttstocks OR T48 handguards had yet been produced / released.

His last post was on August 9th and he was last on the board Yesterday (2003-09-13 13:31:18) and I have banned his account pending resolution of this matter.

Yeah, I saw he was logged on yesterday too and sent him a nice PM. Told him it was probably that he was traveling on his job or on vacation and maybe had no time to respond. Just gave him a friendly "heads up" on the post in Reviews Section to no avail. Ignored my PM.

Looks like he really is a thief....

This is a good and wise course of action. And it is probably an interstate transaction and it is an internet transaction. You can make very bad things happen to him.

I think you guys are mistaken when you poo poo the powers of the USPS.

Postal Inspectors have some pretty broad police powers when it comes to misuse of Postal Money Orders and fraud prosecution. If you give them the proper info they will investigate....

Ask Ironman301.......he had a payment issue awhile back and the Inspectors went right out to the offender's house and questioned him in person.

Ironman can fill in any other details.......

It's not nice to fool with the US Post Office!

I agree with FWRA/ I just cleared a large case and worked with the Postal Inspector. Great Guy and very agressive. I had located stolen material in the midwest. The fellow was slow in working with me so the Inspector sent his people to deal with him face to face. I like that type of work. Prepare the material and ask for a meeting with the Inspector. More than likely he has complaint's on this same guy. CW

No, I'm not mistaken one little bit.

Complete documentation including all email and in one case the ebay information, addresses etc etc ad naseum.

Several months of hounding the inspectors before they even sent the other party a "notice".

Then, the Postal Service must be selective or try & pick easy ones to go after because a close friend of mine "jumped thru all the USPS Hoops" over a $300 purchase of a private digital camera with a US Postal M/O.
Spent much time, drove all around, filled forms in triplicate, blah, blah, blah

It should be now about 4 years, Zero case resolved

Then I hear that some do get resloved, go figure

I guess it can't hurt to try though!

It's probably good to at least try to go to the postmaster so that others may not have to go through the same ordeal. These deadbeats can't go unpunished. If they aren't held accountable for their actions/inactions, they will go right on doing it. I don't know about you, but the mere MENTION from someone that they would go to the mail cops 'cause it's a federal offense would make me swet proverbial bullets.

We have had better luck going through the State Attorney General's office as well as the county sheriff on fraud. The local PD is not much help. We did raise hell with the Tulsa PD one time & got some results, but I think some hell raising to the Corporate Office did more good! We left some high dollar electronics in a Hotel room in Tulsa & we managed to get them back after some hell raising!!

My wife took out a $500 USPS money order and mailed it to her mom so she could buy a plane ticket to fly in and see our new born child.The money order never showed up. My wife had to fill out forms from the Post office and do something with the Sheriff office. I guess a claim. It took about 5 months but we recieved a $500 check from the USPS.They did there back ground check on all partys involved and found the cashed check. Turns out the neighbor's daughter ( 18) Stole my inlaws mail . I jumped my wife for not haveing them sign for it. She took it to the Bank of Seattle and scratched my ma inlaws name and wrote hers in.Now that alone should and would have voided the check.But she had a friend who worked there and told her some bull$hit story about the check and the dumba$$ Bank cashed it.They all was Prosicuted. There are theifs every where.....I mean everywhere. Look at the AK smith from Kansas ordeal.He stole alot of money and guns from alot of people. With the internet it's easyer with cross country dealings. People are less likely to screw someone over if they live across the street and have to face the chance of them coming over and pounding the $hit out of them .

Many people, myself included, sent parts and/or payment via USPS to the Kansas AK-"Smith" Gary Gucciano, aka Solstice Arms, and it did us no good.

Postal fraud appears to be an easy crime to get away with nowadays.
