Proper but pad for STG kit

What is the proper but pad on an STG? I have a hard polymer piece on the stock now that looks as if something is missing. Does the Tapco STG pad screw right in to this piece, or does it repalce this piece? Also, the metal handguards get hot. If I go with plastic, should I get the splatter finish or sand blaster finish from Tapco. I want them to match the splatter stock. I know it looks as if I have answered my own question, but possibly some of you have seen each and can comment on these parts from Tapco.

If the buttstock is the issue stg part, then DSA is probably your best bet for a pad. Stg & Imbel pads are different. They don't interchange. At least in my limited experience. If this is a Century, then the best bet is to replace the U.S. made version with an original stock and get a U.S. made cocking handle or some magazine floorplates to keep the gun legal.

Is the plastic butt stock on your gun NOW cut for a sling swivel ?

Could be a Century stock, as bykerhd said you can order a stock from DSA
with the pad and make sure you get a swivel and the screws , if you don't
have one already.

I just took the stock off for closer inspection, but I failed to look for any markings. It has a straight comb, not hump back so that is why I am calling it an STG. Also the sling swivwl is in tact, of the 360 degree rotation type. The end cap looks to be attached to the stock because the assembly looks painted over. Someone tell me if this is a STG or Imbel, or if not, let me know what features to look for. BTW, the barrel is stamped centurion 58 and has metal hand guards. Looks are o.k., needs park or other finish.
