Piston or Charging Handle?

I have 5 compliance part, H.T.S., pistol grip, and stock. I can't determine the sixth part. I have two choice, piston or charging handle? Mine is a G1 part kits. Please help.

IMOHO I would have to say that the stock charging handles on the G1's are butt ugly. If it were mine that is the part I would change. However, changing the gas piston is a whole lot easier. Your choice.
