FNC handguard on FAL

This may be a dumb question but here goes. Will a FNC handguard fit on a FAL. Anyone done this? Tried it? May look cool with a SAW stock and grip.

It can be done, but requires some mods to H-grd or need to mfg longer H-grd rear socket/ring as the FNC H-grds are slightly short.

Kinda hard to find FNC H-grds as well.
