Just another Izzy clone
Yep, just another Izzy clone carbine. Not as frilly as the ones I've posted in the past but this one sports a new custom wood carry handle made by another member here. Word is these handles will be available soon for my custom builds and for sale seperately too.

WOW!
You are making life VERY hard for me!!! I have my heart set on an Izzy and have been toying with building a clone or getting a real Izzy kit. This makes it much harder!! Ok, a couple of quick questions (if you are willing to share your secrets!): 1) What receiver? 2) What kit did you start with? 3) What barrel and gas block did you use? 4) How about the front and rear sights? 5) Will the member make a wood handle for me?!?!?! Please, please! 6) What is the length on that barrel? 7) Which gas regulator? You do great work and are an inspiration to us all! Thanks! |

I thought that Izzy wood could never look that good! That's the second one in a week now that has me reconsidering my bias.
That is one cool little mini-izzy. You got talent.

Great on the wood handle! Let me know or have him email or PM me. I am ready as soon as he is (starting to work on an Izzy soon).
How did you guys get the handle to match the other furniture?? |

PA Patriot,
You might have answered this before, but you always have the best images as well as rifles and I was wondering what kind of camera you are using. Thanks |

What finish did you use for the stocks? Is the metal just parkerized or does it have a spray-on black finish?
This rifle came out beautiful, nice work! |

Thanks guys!
Yes, Klutch is correct. Nikon CoolPix. R4 - the stain is a custom blended tint I created ![]() Then finished with spar urathane. (Much more durable than poly) Finish is satin black gunkote over fresh park. I didn;t give a lot of details since it was very similar to the last two Izzy clones I posted.
