VOW PARA Rear Sight, windage adjustable US made Para style rear sight, uses the AR A2
Just want to get everybodys input- I bought on and I put it on my STG--however, it shoots great with this rear sight, I just cant get used to its look on the ass end of the rifle.

I just installed mine yesterday; I love it. My eyes have a little trouble with the tiny FAL peep, and the "large" A2 makes the front sight really visible in closer-range sighting. Just like it does for my AR15.
I actually think it looks better than the factory sight; certainly is "beefier". Can't wait to get to the range to zero it; seems to be the same height as stock. |

I've had one on my carbine for awhile, and absolutely love it! It looks and feels much beefier than the standard, and is much easier to zero than the "two screw" design of the original. Add the larger (than the stock FAL) and easier to use in low light ghost ring aperture, and the smaller (than the stock FAL) and more accurate "long range" aperture and you have a beautiful and useful mix.
Finally, add to all that that Dan is a great guy, and stands behind his products 100%, and you can't lose!

I love mine. As for the looks of it, it'll grow on you.

Does anyone have one without the knob? How does the windage adjust on it? I really don't like the looks of the know and can't justify the expense just for conveinence sake. I mean how often should you need to adjust windage anyhow? Thanks in advance.

I have a couple of the non-windage knob models and absolutely love them.
Windage IS adjustable via a slotted head. I got the one with the A2 ap. BSZ for 250 on the small ap and learn your holdovers for longer range. Use the large 'ghost' ap for night or indoor use. These are perfect for a field use battle rifle. Set BSZ and don't F' with it ![]() Best FAL battle sight going, IMO
