Parts List
Since nearly everyone is out of parts kits, I would like to try to put together a rifle from available parts. Can anyone give me a parts list for the FAL? This will be my first build and my buddy is helping me.

Do a search for "metric Parts" "Jen" in the Marketplace. She has parts and a very nice diagram.

Or, Tapco is an example of one vendor that has complete Imbel and/or G1 lowers. DSArms has complete Stg58 uppers. Now all you need are the ejector block parts (mag catch, bolt hold open, mag catch spring, mag catch/bho retaining screw), bolt and carrier. Probably run you in the neighborhood of $200-ish dollars for what amounts to a complete Stg58
I'm sure most of the board sponsors and regular vendors will have similar upper/lower bundles floating around out there. And be sure to check the Marketplace forum as well. Doing it piecemeal will eventually become necessary, I'm afraid. But until it's "necessary" doing so will nickle & dime you to death.... At least that's where I would be looking
