I had the MN44 and MN38 out to the range today

I was very impressed with the MN44. I fired with the bayonet extended as I have heard this how the Russians intended them to be shot and sighted them in this way. I didn't really get to fire the MN38 too much as on the ninth or tenth round I was a victim of Slobo's Revenge, my first gas blow-back (see my post on the Ammunition board).

The only dissapointing thing is that now the FAL feels like a .22
