Kobra on Williams QD Pro Mount

I know alot of you guys already have a Kobra. I was a little late getting in on a Kobra. I put one on my AK 47 last week and liked it so much that i had to have one for a FAL. At 50 yards I was shooting into the 3x5" rectangle on the head of a cardboard police silhouette. At 100 yards i emptied a 20 mag from the bench in rapid fire and totally perferated a paper plate. With the "Fish Gill" brake on this 18" barrel, follow up shots are a breeze. This brake reduces the recoil to between that of a 22 magnum and a 223.

EDIT:Sorry for the fuzzy picture.

I have a total of 4 of them, one on a buzz gun, one on a FAL, and two on AK's. They are neat sights, tough and simple. Kind of a head scratcher to get zero'ed, especially if you don't read Russian.
Hey Ron, those stocks look kinda familiar, wonder why?

Great sight for the money. My AKs have them, the FAL is next.

How hard was it to sight your rifle? The back of the Kobra sight got in the way when I had it mounted to my SAR-3, so I sold it. It was a very unnatural cheek weld to bring the sights on target. If I had a cheek pad fitted to my gun, it might have been ok. I was just curious of your experiences were with the Kobra. I suppose if I were shooting from a bench rest, it would be ok though.

The only problem i had was remembering what was up, down, left, and right on the adjustment knobs. After sighting in my first Kobra on my AK 47 {30 minutes} This one only took five minutes. I put a 1 1/2" longer stock on my SAR 1 and haven't any problem with the sight picture. This Kobra sitting on the Williams mount is just perfct for cheek weld.

Thumbs up

Looks nice.

BTW, those import markings on the left side of the Kobra can be removed with acetone fingernail polish remover with out damage to the black paint FYI.

Cheers,
Fargo
