Sands cuts?

I have seen the carrier cuts but what are the receiver cuts that DSA advertises and are they really needed?

There not really needed unless you live in the desert.......LOL......that said you would also need a sand cut bolt carrier and a sand cut bolt for this to be anywhere near effective.HTH
