Re: colombian madsen short rifle

They are all generally in very good to excellant. About $450 around here, generally.

There could be two types of them, I am not sure. Same gun just different badges of service.

Fairly rare gun.

me know nothing about a medallion, i lost interest when i saw prices from $350 - $500 and a open bridge on back ring of receiver. i was looking for a mauser action cheapie to redo. curiosity got me after i got home. IIRC it does say madsen somewhere on the rifle. receiver i think.
what is so special about this rifle. that it commands such prices?

They are the last bolt aciton military design adopted by any country. Only about 6k were made.

They are extremely nice guns and great shooters.

I've been looking for one for quite some time. Definitely one of niftiest military bolt actions ever.

Just looked at one in a gun shop,$250.00 out the door. But the stock had been cut back at the forearm & drilled for scope. If you want it email me for phone #, they will ship to a FFL.

What are they worth?
Man that's a good question, I personally hope that the value keeps going up-up-up!

I paid more than I should have a couple of years ago for one.
It was still in the cosmo wrapped with wax paper with a matching number bayonet . The gun is truly 100%.
I paid 650.00.....let your wallet be your guide!
