Blanks
Blank bullets, where theres powder but no projectile, are they legal? If they are i cant find them anywhere.

AFAIK, blanks ammo are OK. Century International used to sell them, both 223 and 762 NATO.
A friend of mine has a few hundreds 762 NATO blanks that he does not need. However, these blanks are not made for use in gas gun. These are probably grenade launching blanks or blanks meant for bolt guns only. I took his words on it and never tried it on any of my gas rifles. What do you need them for ? |

You can get a crimper from the Old Western Scrounger to crimp .30 bullets. I make many .30-06 blanks to run in a Garand. I use a regular Danish Blank Adapter and about 7grs. of Bullseye with Magnum primers.
You will have to experiment with .308 for a FAL as I do not know if it will cycle without a bullet or a lengthening of the brass. I do not know what amount of powder would make the bfa on a FAL function to cycle the action.
