Brownell's Baking Lacquer
This is for Buff:
The top cover, lower, butt, charging handle, selector, takedown lever, pivot pin and sight assembly are as it came from Argentina. The upper receiver, barrel, handguard ring, mag release, and triggerguard are Brownell's finished parts. The mag is one of the TAPCO G1 mags from one of the 10 each boxes. Also matches nicely. I can't tell the difference. My kit from FWRA was so nice, I am not going to refinish those other parts now. HTH,

Thanks, guys. I bought a Grade I kit from Dan's and am about to order an IMBEL upper. The finish on the kit is really, really nice and I figure I will want to refinish the parkerizing on the receiver to match it. Then, touch up the brake/muzzle area after the f/h leaves and the brake arrives.

I haven't put in a locking shoulder yet [or a bolt for that matter] because I haven't decided how to pin the folding stock open, to satisfy our elected and appointed champions of good taste.
I went with a 18" Steyr barrel from DSA and a FSE fake Belgian style FH.
