What's Angry Beaverfied mean? I've built two and helped a friend build another. Got one more waiting to be built. Not too bad with a few tricks. Do a search on the "gunsmithing and build it yourself" heading to see the problems and the fixes.

What a wonderful thing it would be to visit your own funeral. To sit at the front and hear what was said, maybe say a few things yourself. Michael and I grew old together. But at times, when we laughed, we grew young. If he was here now, if he could hear what I say, I'd congratulate him on being a great man, and thank him for being a friend.

I built one on a inch kit, did have to do a little work to the receiver but nothing major, really went together pretty good. For 125.00 dollars, i think they are worth the little extra work. Enjoyed every minute of it. Anyway i got another one on the way.

maybe I should have said angry beaverized? If you do a search in the gunsmithing/build your own section for angry beaver and Century you will see what I mean. Basically releaving metal on both sides of the inside to "true-up" the bolt path, and getting rid of metal around where the extractor seats when in battery so the bolt will close on a round instead of hanging up are things that you need to do with most receivers (even Imbels), so if that is all then they sound like a good deal. I have not purchased from Century, so I don't realy know about their "parts" quality their L1A1 sporter "quality" I am VERY familiar with (hense the "angry beaver" remark.)

It is my opinion that if they are not right, it doesn't matter if they are FREE. There is a review on my website under notes. I reviewed the inch. The metric is what you have posted - You might notice the receiver markings that the mould used for the casting had different markings on it at one time. Hmmmmmm. Robert Hesse - What did you do with your moulds when you "quit making fal receivers?"

Don't get me wrong, I WISH century would make a decent receiver - it would make a lot more business for me building guns on them (like I could handle more?).

Ya know the first thing I thought of when I saw these receivers was "What would the Gunplumber think". Now I know. Thanks.

Yep, Metric. However, that is the picture they had on their web site under L1A1, just another service by your freindly neighborHOOD beavers.
