A buddy of mine in AZ found an old bullet in the dirt. The headstamp says PETERC .30 U.S.G.

Anyone have any ideas about this round? Who made it? How old it is?

Now that's cool, a .30 U.S.Government. AKA, 30/40 Krag.
What if the Mystery Babalon described in Revelation, which is destroyed by the nations of the North, is actually America?

I found one up metal detecting at deer camp. Was headstamped ".30 USA" or something. Took me a while to figure out it was the old 30-40 round.

Strange,,,maybe its an optical delusion, but that sure looks like a modern primer from here.
I have a slew of old 30 Army ammo, both military and commercial and it all has one thing in common,,, the old brass convex or domed type primers....
