Swiss ZFK55 Sniper

I hate to do this but sometimes you have to sell something to buy something. Up for sale is my ZFK55 serial Nr. 4271. Imported by Simpsons, matching down to the scope and not reworked. The bore is still greased but I don't know whether it's unissued or was greased for storage. Whatever the case, you'll be hard pressed to find a nicer one. The pictures should speak for themselves but if you want more, just let me know as I have a bunch. I'll provide whatever pictures you would like but I will not remove the action from the stock for fear of messing with the factory zero. I can guarantee you though that the stock matches. Price is $5000 shipped to an FFL or C&R. Payment is by Certified Check or Postal Money Orders. I will also accept a personal check but it must clear before I ship. This is cross posted on other forums so I'll go by time stamps. I also reserve the right to remove this from sale if I come to my senses before it sells. Thank you for you time.

That's really something. I'm not sure I'd be able to let go of it if it were mine. Very impressive.

A Swiss sniper would be a terrifying enemy.

Ten seconds after it leaves your hands, you'll be regretting your decision. I've never seen one that nice, and likely never will once that one is gone.

Did Simpson engrave an import stamp on to the rifle? If so, can you post a picture?

It's laser engraved. You can just see it to the right in the last picture.

That is truly an awe inspiring rifle... I've only ever seen 2 in the wild and neither of them were anywhere as clean as this one

Holee Smoke! That is cool, I've never seen one like it before.

Maybe it won't sell?

This one came out of a group buy over on Swiss rifles. As you can see not in as nice a condition as the sellers. I understand the armorers tool and spare parts rolls a hard to come by now. I was lucky to snag one.

These things are tack drivers.

Not my cup of tea, but my goodness that is a sweet looking rifle. Any Swiss firearm I have owned has been built like a tank yet smooth as glass shooting so I can only imagine what a joy this rifle would be to shoot.

I am with the others...you will regret selling this almost immediately, if you are funding another purchase surely you have other items of lesser cool factor you could part with. This rifle is a keeper!

After lots of soul searching, I have decided to not sell this rifle at this time. Even my Honey says I should not. Mods, you may delete this thread if you would like.

That is a nice thing about this forum. You can delete a thread or post.

Good move on not selling the rifle. I have had two Zs and after selling the first I went nuts trying to find another one. Bad case of sellers remorse. Especially one in yours condition. If you sold it chances of finding another one like it would be zip.

I am going to move this thread to the General Firearms Forum. While the sale is closed (good for you), those pictures are beautiful and need to be kept public here so others can stare at them. I will also let the thread stay unlocked so further comments and pictures may be posted.
