They’re out there. Check on GB as they pop up over there sometimes. While they’ve never been cheap, they bring crazy money now. Put a “WTB” ad over in the marketplace

Very nice. I'm green with envy.

Always liked the SIG AMT ever since I saw it in a spread in a mid 70 ' s Guns and Ammo annual

I might still have the annual kicking around somewhere, if you want it I'll have a look for it over the Thanksgiving break

Fantastic,.....very happy that you found one. I generally don't think much of WTB(or whatever WTG means)because it never seems to find what you're looking for unless it's a relatively common item. A SIG AMT is NOT relatively common. Truly remarkable that you ran one down in ten days with an ad. I need to re-evaluate my thoughts on this,....but congrats!

I fired one....and supposively the owner said he has access to a FA one also which was converted in the mid 80s.

Was someone doing conversions for them??

I had the AMT magazines...about 2 dozen of them and I sold it to the guy....

weird guy.....was driving that Honda electric car and was a doctor of some kind in the Bend Area of Oregon.

paid me 120 USD for each magazine and he was happy to pay it.

The one I saw was actually transferable. IIRC it was $18k something like 10 years ago.

I remember seeing one advertised as transferable several years ago,....might be the same one Valmet mentions. Seems like it was papered as a 510-4 maybe? Seemed to be surprisingly affordable for what it is but of course it was already sold when I saw it.

Seem to recall Bill Fleming mentioning to me he had done two SIGs back in the early 80s, an AMT and a PE57
