Interesting. Not a bad price. What do you think Art?

I don't think you can beat the introduction price, or the quality of the product.
Jeff Miller of Bula Defense Systems and Mark Hartman of Jame River fame make a super pair of gents to deal with.
Their stuff is in the highly recommend arena and they are improving all the time.

I was surprised to see a reasonable and competitive price. Puts it right in M1A territory.

I think that was the marketing decision. Pretty amazing for a forged receiver that is true to spec.
I have a few Bula receivers that I have used and found that with the standard model I can move side mount optics from one to the other without loosing more than 1/2 moa Zero. Never found that possible with other makers.

Art, that's damned remarkable. I hope it works for them (and makes the other maker tighten up their game). Quality options are always a good thing. When all my other projects are completed (don't say another word.), I'll think about adding one.

Love to see them offer a model with JRA's 19.25" barrel at that price.

These are very well priced with the Bula parts instead of the USGI parts , which have pretty much dried up. I have a barreled receiver from JRA when Bula first came out with their own barrels and built it up into a standard GI M14 clone using all Springfield Arsenal GI parts, fun time and a great rifle!

The Bula is the one on the top

Bula has made M14 parts for the Army recently; not sure if they have an ongoing contract or not. I'd say that their stuff is top shelf, for sure!

If I didn't roll my own, I would jump on one of these.
This photo shows my recent Bula/JRA builds. Top is all Winchester. Bottom 4 are all Bula except front and rear sights, stocks, Hawk's kits and USGI heels on Bula receivers.
Completed this month.

JRA M14 Paratrooper

I just ordered a JRA/Bula Paratrooper M14 from Classic firearms on monday. I am so excited to grab one of these at the introductory price. I don't think the information and enthusiasm I have been seeing is hype. This will be my 1st M14/M1A type rifle. I thought the hybrid 19.25" barrel length would be perfect. It will look great alongside my FAL I think!

I find the options available using Bula parts more than entertaining.
It has become an obsession. Love it.
Experimenting with 17" barrel on this one. It has changes configuration a half dozen times is the last week.

Saw those after my first post, but were out of stock and then missed the few that arrived last weekend.

You do know that swapping barrels is a fairly easy task. All other parts are the same.
