Type C wooden stock question. Possible CAD drawing available?
a bunch of us in South Africa is toying with this idea. We would want to know of what wood type did FN Herstel use for the FN FAL wooden stocks type C. Was it English Walnut? or what else was used?
If possible, does someone have a CAD drawing and specs available for the Type C wood butt. We want to try something here in South Africa by using decent spec wood and CAD files on a machine. So I am hoping someone can assist and help. Cheers |

I *think* FN used French walnut.
A bigger question some of us would like to know, regards the type C long stocks made either in Rhodesia or South Africa...what wood was used for THOSE? |
