TAPCO cocking handle assy.

This weekend I had the pleasure of building a FAL for a friend, using one of TAPCO's US made cocking assy's as one of the US parts. I give a hearty "two thumbs up" to this product. I had tossed around the idea of not refinishing the rail section to match the rest of the gun (grey moly) - then decided to attempt to disassemble it... two screws, the knob is off, and the rail is disassembled. The whole thing looks strong, VERY well machined, and VERY well planned, this really is an upgrade to the FAL design.
I will be recommending this to anyone I build for in the future.
TAPCO - thanks for a great product, at a great price.
Regards
Gavin
(really not a brown noser... really)

Agreed. Good product...just don't forget a dab of Super Glue or REMOVABLE Locktite on the screws. They will shoot loose.

Ditto, the screw holding the knob on mine disappeared on the second range trip.
Tapco happily is sending a replacement though. I have the red loc-tite waiting

Yeah, prob will use blue. Just figured I would likely not ever need to take that knob off.
