It normally start out slow, and gathers speed from there. The BS of course, not the match!

In, of course! After Oklahoma in January and Kentucky in March, I will be exhausted and promise to run really slowly. I might just mosey...

He won't get me again with the T shirt trick, but I am sure his devious mind has something new in the works that could cause me even more trouble

Then we are flip-flopping.

The only reason I ran irons last year was because I figured my days of doing so were limited. I was correct.

Sign me up for optics this year Stimp

Found some really nice awards Stimpy. I'll try to get them to you shortly so you can decide to use them.

'In'.

Bringing my peeps. Don't know if that means Jonathan and my dad, or some other people, or some different mix of the above.

Or if tdb59 is going to succumb finally to the urge and fly out with us...

If tdb59 doesn't come, he is just a wimpy west coaster and should not have his man card punched for 2017.

There. The first smack post of the thread. Fire for effect.

How about hats or sweaters? I literally have a zillion T-shirts from all kinds of competitions, but not that many hats or sweaters.

What are the roads like around that area? Thinking of sharing a rental car with my buddy, but being from OK and TX, we expect harsh washed out roads going to run site.....

Roads are paved county roads or better up until the last 1/4 mile or so, and then it's groomed gravel with a pothole here and there. I've driven it in a 1996 Saturn several years and did just fine.

Rental cars can go through some seriously bad off-road stuff.

They will venture places I would not put my own truck through.

I've seen me do it

You and me both. That is the main reason I never considered buying an inexpensive rental car.

TK, all of the roads are very easy on the car except for the last - mile or so. It is a gravel country road that can be very rough if you try to drive fast. But taking it easy, you'll never spill your coffee. And if you are worried about it, we tend to form a convoy the morning of and travel as one to the match from the local hostelries. I am pretty sure that you could hitch a ride with someone.

Tac - you haven't met this guy yet, so I'll fill you in. TK could run the 16 miles from the hotel in his sandals with all his gear on his back and just be getting warmed up when he gets there. But yes, he could also catch a ride if he's feeling lazy. ;-)

LOL - not quite....just hitching a ride from my buddy in Texas, we've seen some "challenging" roads before. Just want to make sure our plan is realistic. Thanks for the info!

Speaking of the hotel, some may recall they had a wedding or two staying there last year and were sold out. I don't know about others but I had difficulty getting a room for Saturday night. I'm already "in like Flynn" with reservations for next year.

Just getting the smack in early.

Stimpy, how about a re-do of the FIRST T shirt. I missed the first match and came for the second one. So for me, that would be a new design. Prolly the same for many others.

I don't have the art anymore...so I am not surprised to see someone asking for this.

Which one?

Looking at your examples, the 2003 shirt was the first match IIRC. Don't have that one. But I do like the premise of the third match - Part Tactical, Part Target, ALL FUN. That design brought up to date would be a winner with me.

A quiet bump while stimpy mulls over his selection for the t-shirt graphics.

I was thinking more in line with Legolas infinitely full quill. You know, something like this:

He runs out twice in the movies IIRC...several more times in the books.

Pretty sure he only had the one knife though.

It was all slowfire so it doesn't really count, but I shot a 269-4x in practice today. It was windy as hell, so I'm pretty pleased with an 89-2x standing. This was really another shot-calling exercise, so any good scores are just side benefits.

I'm even more pleased that I THINK I've figured out what caused the 4 off-call shots that went high right in both prone and sitting. That one has been driving me Nuttz. Now to see if I can control it. Needs more practice.

Muscling in with the right shoulder, or pulling in with the support arm ?
