first time FAL builder
Hello all.
I recently decided I needed to build my first centerfire autoloader, and a FAL sporter seemed the best way to go. I now have a very nice G1 parts kit, and an Imbel recvr in the process of being put together. As work progresses, I will probly have some questions to post, so I thot I would say hi first. I am really pleased with what I have put together so far. Using these forums as an info source, I was able to get everything apart and cleaned up with no trouble. The bore is in great shape, and the barrel hand indexes to 10:30-11:00 just like it is supposed to. That is all I have gotten doen so far, but I will post more later. I think this will be a realy good rifle when finished. Thanks, -Brad |

Welcome to board G1user!!! I too am in the process of building my first kit. It looks like you're further along than I am. This forum has provided excellent info so we're in good hands.
![]() I'm documenting my build via my website http://bandito.50megs.com/fal/wecsog.html to help answer questions and provide links to the good info I've found here for others newbies that will follow down this path. Please do post a pic here of your finished work, and good luck with the build!!! Rick
